In the Democratic front-runner’s latest fundraising email, Clinton declares she is “going to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.”

“And that means it’s time to steel ourselves for the general election and a race against Donald Trump,” she continues.

Clinton concludes the email saying the presumptive Republican nominee is “going to come after us with everything he’s got,” and urges her supporters to donate to her fight.

This is not the first time Clinton has said she will be the party’s nominee.

Just yesterday Clinton told CNN she “will be the nominee” for her party.

“That is already done in effect,” Clinton told Chris Cuomo Thursday. “There is no way I won’t be [the nominee].”
