Sen. When Clinton was asked about adding Booker to her ticket, Booker responded, “First of all, I’m already her VP — her vegan pal.”


Booker announced in 2014 that after more than 20 years as a vegetarian, he would be going vegan.

“I might not be around if I hadn’t become a vegan. It’s great,” Clinton said. 

Booker was campaigning with the former secretary of State on Wednesday. He tweeted a video from Snapchat showing Clinton arrive to the campaign event and greet him.
