Five police officers were killed in Dallas Thursday night when four gunmen opened fire during a protest against police violence.

Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, condemned the attack in a tweet on Friday, saying she mourned the officers who were protecting protesters.
I mourn for the officers shot while doing their sacred duty to protect peaceful protesters, for their families & all who serve with them. -H— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) July 8, 2016
