Trump was expected to name Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice presidential pick at a news conference Friday but canceled those plants in the wake of the deadly attacks in Nice, France.

Campaign chairman Paul Manafort told Bloomberg details of a new event would come Friday morning but the announcement would come before the campaign leaves for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, which starts Monday.

Pence arrived in New York Thursday afternoon, and Trump had initially planned to announce his choice at a 11 a.m. at the New York Hilton Midtown hotel.

"I think Mr. Trump has reached a decision, but he isn't prepared to announce it," Manafort said on Fox News Friday.

Thursday night Trump told Fox News he hadn't yet made a "final, final decision."
