Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham brought the Republican National Convention to its feet on Wednesday night calling for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to endorse Donald Trump in his convention speech later.

“Donald Trump has pledged to work tirelessly to get our country back on track,” she said. “I want to say this very plainly, to all of you boys with wounded feelings and bruised egos: We love you, but you must honor your pledge to support Donald Trump now. Do it tonight.”

{mosads}The crowd erupted.

“I hope they’re listening to you,” she said. “I hope you’re listening.”

Cruz is under increasing pressure to back Trump in his much-anticipated convention speech.

He signed a pledge saying he would support the eventual nominee in the primary but has withheld his support after a bitterly fought primary against the nominee.

He’s set to speak to the convention later on Wednesday night.

Ingraham also brought the house down with a fierce attack against the media that electrified the crowd at the Quicken Loans Arena.

“To all of my friends up there in the press. You all know why — in your heart — Donald Trump won the Republican nomination,” she said.

“You know it. Because he dared to call out the phonies and the frauds and the corruption that has gone unexposed and uncovered for too long.”

“Do your job,” Ingraham said to a huge round of applause.

“Even in the face of unfair criticism and sheer hatred — they had their chance. Now it’s our chance.”
