MORE on Wednesday mistakenly tagged the wrong person in a tweet thanking Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker for his speech at the Republican National Convention.

"Thank you Governor @ScottWalker6! #AmericaFirst #RNCinCLE," he tweeted. Walker's Twitter handle is @ScottWalker.

The tweet included a picture with a quote from Walker, saying: "The simple truth is: Liberal Washington insiders created these problems. The Twitter account Trump tagged belongs to a news anchor in New Orleans, according to its bio.

"I was just sitting here watching the convention and getting ready for my newscast," anchor Scott Walker told The Hill.

"All was quiet on the Scott Walker front until the speech ended and Donald Trump added a 6 to the back of the governor's twitter handle. Mix-ups have happened for years with the two of us, but tonight was the best #WrongScottWalker moment ever," he added.

The Wisconsin governor, during his speech in Cleveland, slammed presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and said that America deserves better.
