Sanders live-tweeted the speech Thursday, firing off criticisms at the businessman. 

"Trump: 'I alone can fix this.' Is this guy running for president or dictator? #RNCwithBernie," the Vermont senator said in a tweet that got nearly 25,000 retweets and 30,000 likes.

During the speech, Trump cited Sanders’s criticism of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonPelosi on power in DC: 'You have to seize it' Cuba readies for life without Castro Chelsea Clinton: Pics of Trump getting vaccinated would help him 'claim credit' MORE’s judgment. The GOP nominee said supporters of Sanders's presidential bid will join his campaign after the "rigged" primary season.

“Those who voted for me will not support Trump who has made bigotry and divisiveness the cornerstone of his campaign,” Sanders tweeted in response.
Sanders tweeted responses to Trump throughout the speech at the Republican National Convention using the hashtag and posted a picture of himself watching the address.
