Clinton has 36 percent support in the state to Trump's 35 percent in a Hinckley Institute-Salt Lake Tribune poll, according to a report Monday from CBS affiliate KUTV.

Utah has gone to the Republican nominee in each of the last 12 presidential elections, but polls have shown a close race this year.
Trump has faced pushback from Utah's considerable Mormon population, and he's been repeatedly criticized by Mitt Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee and a Utah resident.
