Donald Trump lashed out at former CIA acting Director Michael Morell Sunday evening, tweeting that the he’s a “total Clinton flunky.”

Michael Morell, the lightweight former Acting Director of C.I.A., and a man who has made serious bad calls, is a total Clinton flunky!

{mosads}Earlier Sunday, Morell called Russian President Vladimir Putin “very talented” on  ABC’s “This Week” saying he has “manipulated people much smarter than Donald Trump.”

“He played this perfectly right. He saw that Donald Trump wanted to be complimented,” he said.

“He complimented him. That led Donald Trump to then compliment Vladimir Putin and to defend Vladimir Putin’s actions in a number of places around the world,” he added.

“And Donald Trump didn’t even understand, right, that Putin was playing him.”

Last week, Morell announced his support for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Morell served as deputy director and twice as acting director during the Obama administration.
