The musician tweeted a photo of himself and the Democratic nominee with the text: "She's with me."

McCartney, who is in Cleveland for two shows as part of his "One on One" tour, met with Clinton at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Clinton was holding a rally at a local high school in Cleveland ahead of the meeting and has a fundraiser scheduled in the area.

The two reportedly discussed the 2016 race, their families and the Olympics, an aide told CNN.

Clinton then met with McCartney and his wife privately for about 30 minutes.

McCartney is a British citizen, so he can't vote in the presidential election.
