Jill Stein makes New Hampshire ballot

Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein will will appear on New Hampshire's ballot in November, the Associated Press reported

Stein on Friday fulfilled the petition requirement to make the ballot, getting 3,000 signatures to be listed as presidential candidates.

Both Stein and Johnson are hoping the unprecedented unpopularity of the major party nominees will propel their election bids. 

A third-party candidate needs to reach 15 percent support in national polls to make the cut for the presidential debates.

Johnson currently has 7.8 percent support nationally while Stein has 3.1 percent, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average
