Huckabee Sanders, the daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, will still do on-air surrogate appearances, but will also be responsible for communications for coalitions for the Republican nominee's campaign.

Huckabee Sanders joined the Trump campaign in February as a senior adviser.

At the time, she said she volunteered to join the GOP nominee's campaign because he is a "champion of working families; not Washington-Wall Street elites."

"Like the other Republican candidates, Mr. Trump is pro-life, pro-marriage, and will appoint conservatives to the courts," she said at the time.

"What makes Mr. Trump my choice for president is he will break the grip of the donor class on our government and make it accountable to working families again."

She ran her father's 2016 presidential campaign until he dropped out of the race earlier this year.
