"You have illegal immigrants that she wants — and he wants — treated better than veterans," Trump told a town hall audience in Virginia Beach, Va.
The GOP nominee didn't offer evidence to support his claim that the Obama administration is treating illegal immigrants better than veterans.
But his comments, part of an attack on the "incompetent" way the Department of Veterans Affairs is being handled, were warmly accepted by an audience heavy on veterans.
"You have these people treated better than people that are in this room," Trump said, as some in the crowd booed.
"You know it," he added.
"They've got their priorities mixed up. That's going to change so fast, OK."
