The article shows a picture zoomed in on the Democratic presidential nominee's ear during the military-themed Commander-in-Chief Forum on Wednesday night on NBC News.

It questions whether Clinton was wearing an earpiece during the forum, calling it "the latest question swirling around the Internet after pictures appeared to show Hillary with some kind of flesh-colored device embedded inside her ear."

Conservative actor James Woods tweeted the image early Thursday morning with the caption: "Earpiece? #CrookedHillary."

Woods tweeted: "She can't even #lie without help from a gaggle of other #liars through an earpiece."

The Drudge Report made the article the lead on its site with the headline: "Hillary and the ear pearl."
