“It’s kind of great to have a person like that represent everything that’s wrong in the world,” she said at the Variety Entertainment and Tech Summit. 

“It’s always a good thing to look at somebody and say, ‘That’s the worst thing that could happen.’ I think we should keep [Trump] in the spotlight — not as president, obviously.” 

Handler then pivoted to Roger Ailes, who resigned from Fox News after he was accused of sexual harassment. 

Ailes is reportedly advising Trump during his debate prep, though the campaign denies the former Fox CEO has any involvement with the campaign. 

“Only in this day and age would a man who gets fired for sexually harassing numerous women … that he would be working with Donald Trump on his campaign for the presidency. In what world is that all right?” 

“Unreal,” she said. 

Handler said in May that she bought a house in Spain in case Trump is elected. 

“I don’t think he was ready to really take the job,” Handler said. “He just loves attention and he likes to talk about himself.
