Trump shreds GOP: ‘So many self-righteous hypocrites’

“So many self-righteous hypocrites,” Trump tweeted Sunday. “Watch their poll numbers — and elections — go down!”


After the Republican presidential nominee’s tweet, “hypocrites” started trending on the social media network in Washington, D.C.

Trump specifically called out GOP leaders in an earlier tweet. 

“Tremendous support (except for some Republican ‘leadership’),” he wrote.

Dozens of Republican lawmakers have criticized Trump over his sexually aggressive comments, with some dropping their support for the party’s nominee and others calling for him to exit the race.
