Trump’s son tweets fake news story about paid protesters

Eric Trump promoted a fake story that claims a protestor admitted he was paid to attend a rally for the Republican presidential nominee.

{mosads}”Finally the truth comes out!,” Donald Trump’s son wrote in a since deleted tweet.

But the article links to a known fake news site that uses the URL “abcnews.com.co” to trick people into thinking it’s a legitimate story from ABC News.

“For months now, rumors have circulated the Internet that individuals were being paid to protest at rallies held by presidential hopeful Donald Trump. Today a man from Trump’s rally in Fountain Hills, Arizona back in March has come forward to say that he was paid to protest the event,” the fake story reads.
