Pointing at the crowd, the GOP presidential nominee said, “I love that sign, ‘Blacks for Trump’ … there are a lot of those signs.”

{mosads}Trump, who typically receives single-digit support among black voters, has been trying to convince them they’ve got nothing to lose by supporting his candidacy.

Wearing a white “Make America Great Again” cap at his Florida rally, Trump claimed the support of other voting blocs that public polls indicate are reluctant to support him.

“Hispanics for Trump,” he declared, appearing to read another sign in the Florida crowd.

“There’s one,” he added about another sign. “Women and Hispanics for Trump.”

“In six days, we are going to win the great state of Florida,” Trump said, “and we are going to win back the White House 100 percent.”

Democrats have aimed to shore up support among African-American voters as polls have shown Hillary Clinton clinging to a narrow lead over Trump in several battleground states.

“I’m going to be honest with you right now. The Latino vote is up. The overall vote is up. But the African-American vote, right now, is not as solid as it needs to be,” President Obama said in an interview that aired earlier Wednesday.

Clinton’s campaign also released a radio ad on Wednesday aimed at black voters by that highlighted Trump’s comments about African-Americans.

The moves come as early turnout for black voters in Florida and North Carolina remains below 2012 levels.
