The 48-year-old ABC late-night host — who has hosted both Republican nominee Donald TrumpDonald TrumpTrump mocks Murkowski, Cheney election chances Race debate grips Congress US reentry to Paris agreement adds momentum to cities' sustainability efforts MORE and Clinton on his program this campaign season — said Wednesday he sees comments online from Trump supporters asking why he "always make jokes about Donald Trump and not about Hillary Clinton.”

"You know, I do make more jokes about Donald Trump than Hillary Clinton," he said. "There's no question about it, but that's just because Hillary Clinton is boring."

Kimmel went on to compare the itineraries of the Democratic and Republican nominees on Wednesday to illustrate his point.

"Hillary Clinton spent the day in Orlando at a youth center talking about the economy, yawn," he said. "Whereas Donald Trump today visited a African-American church with boxing promoter Don King."

Clinton has been hit with her share of controversies throughout the campaign that could make for good fodder, most notably — as FBI Director James Comey put it —  her "extremely careless" handling of classified emails.

But in August, Kimmel told Clinton directly while a guest on his program, "Over the last several months, more than anything we’ve learned, we’ve learned your emails are very boring."
