Reporter finds GOP senator's bank card in Capitol ATM

BuzzFeed News reporter Emma Loop wrote in a series of tweets that Burr was using an ATM in the Capitol subway while speaking to reporters after former FBI Director James Comey's testimony, but he forgot his card in the machine when he walked away.

“He grabs his cash and leaves. I notice the ATM is still beeping, though. So I look and he's left his card in the machine!” Loop tweeted.

“A staffer (I think from gallery) grabbed it for safe keeping. So [Burr] come get your bank card!"

Loop and another reporter present noted that Burr asked the assembled journalists to look away when he entered his PIN.

Burr chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee, which hosted Comey's testimony Thursday. The former FBI director told the panel that President Trump defamed him and told "lies."
