Rep. Seth Moulton announces engagement

Moulton, who said the pair had been dating for more than two years, made the announcement on his Twitter account.

"My girlfriend of 2+ years, Liz Boardman, just said yes! So excited!!" Moulton wrote, including a photo of the pair on the Speaker's balcony overlooking the National Mall.

Moulton's tweet with the photo followed a tweet from an hour earlier announcing the engagement.

Moulton, 38, is a Marine Corps veteran and a second-term congressman representing Massachusetts' 6th District. He was first elected to the House in 2014.
