“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough is ripping Republicans who said in a new poll that they would support delaying the 2020 presidential election if President Trump called for it to ensure only eligible American citizens can vote.

“If you believe this, hide your face in shame. Your values are objectively un-American. Read the US Constitution and repent,” Scarborough tweeted on Thursday.

In an earlier tweet, the MSNBC host said the “party of Reagan is sick and beyond repair.”

The former congressman, who recently announced his departure from the GOP, was referring to a new Washington Post survey that found that 52 percent of Republicans said they would support a postponement of the next election if Trump proposed it.

{mosads}Fifty-six percent of Republicans would support postponing the election if congressional Republicans and Trump called for the delay.

The poll also found 68 percent of Republicans believed that illegal immigrants voted in the 2016 elections and 73 percent said voter fraud “happens somewhat or very often.”

Trump has claimed without evidence that he would have won the popular vote last year if not for illegal immigrants voting.

Earlier this year, he signed an executive order creating the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity to probe his claims of voter fraud.
