Democratic mega-donor Tom Steyer says he purchased a copy of author Michael Wolff's controversial new book on the Trump presidency for each member of Congress to read.
Steyer plans to hand-deliver 535 copies of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" to each member of the House and Senate, he told California's KQED radio station.

Wolff's book claims Trump did not expect to win the presidency and depicts Trump as incompetent and unwilling to listen to his advisers. The White House blasted the book as full of lies on Friday and tried to prevent its publication with a cease-and-desist letter.
A billionaire Democratic donor and environmental activist, Steyer spent at least $20 million of his own money on the "Need to Impeach" campaign against Trump calling on members of Congress to support impeachment.
Steyer said this week that he will make a "major announcement" about his future political endeavors on Monday, which could include a possible candidacy for California's governor or for the Senate.
Steyer did not immediately return a request for comment.
