Trump visits Florida golf club amid memo controversy

President Trump visited Trump International Golf Club on Saturday, amid controversy over a House Intelligence Committee memo that he declassified the previous day.

Trump, along with the first lady and their son Barron, arrived in West Palm Beach, Fla., on Friday night in Air Force One for a weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

The president tweeted Saturday morning that the memo, which alleges improper surveillance of his campaign approved by the FBI and Justice Department, “totally vindicates” him from the investigation into Russian collusion, and reiterated that the probe is a “Russian Witch Hunt.”

The trip to the golf club marks Trump’s 31st visit to that club since taking office and his 95th day spent at a Trump golf property, according to NBC News.
