Steve Buscemi maxes out donation to Bill de Blasio's presidential campaign

The actor, known for his roles in "The Death of Stalin" and "The Big Lebowski," gave $2,800 to the mayor in June, according to the latest Federal Election Commission filing.


Buscemi is a native New Yorker and worked as a firefighter in the city before becoming an actor.

De Blasio is currently polling at around 0.6 percent and is competing with more than two dozen people hoping to win the presidency in 2020.
