Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime Clinton backer and informal adviser during her tenure as secretary of State, demurred about whether he still emails with her.
Several of Blumenthal’s emails to Hillary became public during the ongoing investigation into her private email server.

“Do I still email with Hillary Clinton? We’re friends,” Blumenthal responded.
“You can answer that,” Hayes said.
“No, no, we’ve been friends for 30 years,” Blumenthal said.
