Trump records new set of robocalls for Romney campaign

{mosads}The Romney campaign has taken special care to thank Trump at recent election-night speeches, with Romney’s wife, Ann, calling him an “honorary Buckeye” and thanking him for a series of Ohio radio appearances Tuesday night.

Trump has said he deserved credit for Romney’s decisive win in Nevada.

“There was a lot riding on that particular race in Nevada and it was interesting, because the numbers were much, much greater than you thought,” Trump said during an interview last month on Fox News. “And a lot of people are giving me credit for that. And I will accept that credit.”

Trump’s spokesman said the real estate mogul was helping Romney connect with voters.

“Supporters like Mr. Trump introduce voters to the real Mitt Romney. And once that happens, people believe in him, believe in his campaign and go out to vote for him in the primaries and caucuses,” he said.
