It's President Obama's birthday next week, and the first lady wants your electronic signature for a virtual birthday card.

Michelle Obama wrote an e-mail asking supporters Tuesday to wish the president a happy 49th birthday by affixing their name, e-mail and personal message to a "card" on the Organizing for America website. (Don't be surprised if your signature earns you a place on OFA's mailing list).

"Together with other Organizing for America supporters — and me, Malia, Sasha, and Bo — we'll wish him a happy birthday and let him know that we're ready to take on the year ahead alongside him," she wrote.

Coincidentally, the first lady and daughter Sasha will be on vacation in Spain during the president's birthday, so perhaps the card is her way of making amends.
