Mitt Romney attends Pacquiao boxing match
Mitt Romney and his wife Ann had ringside seats to the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez boxing match on Saturday, according to the Associated Press.
Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee who lost to President Obama, also met with Pacquiao in his dressing room before the fight in Las Vegas’s MGM Grand hotel arena.
{mosads}“Hello Manny. I ran for president. I lost,” Romney reportedly told Pacquiao.
Nevada State Athletic Commission chairman Bill Brady, who hosted a fundraiser for the GOP candidate during his presidential bid, had the Romneys as his guests at the bout.
Marquez won the fight in the sixth round, after knocking out Pacquiao with a hard right jab.
