Trump, who considered jumping in as a GOP candidate himself earlier this year, is still looking to influence the presidential race and has said that all the candidates are reaching out to him for support.

Trump met with Rick Perry two weeks ago, undeclared candidate Sarah Palin in May, and will meet with Rep. Trump dined out on the town with both Perry and Palin, so there were pictures from those meetings.

“I guess we did a better job this time,” Trump said of the lack of a photo opportunity during his meeting with Romney. 

Herman Cain, fresh off a high-profile straw poll win in Florida over the weekend, tweeted earlier in the day that he will meet with Trump on Oct. 3.

Trump said he will endorse once he settles on a candidate. He avoided making any comparisons between candidates.
