A Republican candidate running in Alabama’s 6th District used a trio of guns to blow holes into ObamaCare in a web video released Wednesday.

In his new ad, Will Brooke fires a number of rounds into a copy of the healthcare law before throwing it into a wood chipper.

"We are down here to have a little fun today and talk about two serious subjects, the Second Amendment and see how much damage we can do to this copy of ObamaCare," he says before shooting into the pages of the law with a succession of guns with increasing firepower.

His campaign identified the three firearms as a .40 Glock pistol, a .270 Cooper rifle and an AR-15 rifle.

"Well we had some fun and knocked some holes in it, but we didn't quite get the job done," Brooke says before walking to the wood chipper. "Looks like we'll have to resort to more extreme measures to get rid of ObamaCare and replace it with a market-based solution."

Brooke is running in a crowded primary to replace Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), who announced last year he would retire at the end of his term. He is competing with six other candidates to capture the GOP nomination in a June 3 primary.

Brooke identifies himself as the executive of Harbert Management Corporation, an independent investment firm.

The winner of the primary is expected to go on to win the seat in the solidly Republican district that went to Mitt Romney with 74 percent of the vote in 2012.

The ad follows a formula used by a number of other candidates, most famously by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) who was featured in an ad shooting the failed “Cap and Trade” bill during his 2010 campaign.
