Sotomayor said she was "just shopping" at the Costco in suburban Virginia, where Clinton's book signing was held, and decided to get a signed copy of her new book, "Hard Choices."

The former secretary of Sate and potential Democratic presidential hopeful shouted that she couldn't believe it, according to the Associated Press.

Clinton released her memoir earlier this week and has been on a media blitz ever since, making stops in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia.

She autographed copies for nearly three hours.
