MORE and her two daughters are spending the Presidents Day weekend in Aspen, Colo.

The Obama family arrived in Aspen on Friday for a ski vacation, reports the Aspen Daily News.


The newspaper reports that Obama and her daughters are staying at the home of Jim and Paula Crown, owners of the Aspen Skiing Company. 

The Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo confirmed to the newspaper that he had met with the Secret Service to organize security arrangements and had lent deputies to help protect the Obamas.

President Obama has remained in Washington this weekend.

Last year on the Presidents Day holiday weekend, the first lady and her daughters traveled to Vail, Colo.
