Obama plays round of golf with Malaysia’s prime minster

President Obama golfed with the prime minister of Malaysia on Wednesday as he continued his annual winter vacation in Hawaii.

Prime Minister Najib Razak joined the president on the golf course. The foursome was completed by White House aides Joe Paulsen and Mike Brush.

Obama is a regular golfer who has taken advantage of the warm temperatures in Hawaii to hit the links. He golfed over the weekend and again on Tuesday, and is likely to play a few more rounds during his 17-day vacation.

The president’s penchant for golfing while on vacation has been widely mocked by conservatives.

In August, he played a round shortly after denouncing the beheading of American journalist James Foley by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, a move slammed by critics as disrespectful. Obama later said he regretted golfing after his press conference.
