“She has a new hairdo, did you notice that today?” Trump asked.
“That’s called a wig,” Levin responded.
“Is that a wig?” the businessman said, continuing: “It really was shocking to see it. You’re right, it must be. … It was massive. her hair became massive.”
The host warned Trump not to say anything that will get him in trouble, prompting the candidate to respond, “I don’t care. I’m a person that tells the truth.”
Matt Drudge of the conservative Drudge Report on Wednesday cast doubt on the former first lady’s hair in a series of tweets.
Santa Nikkels, Clinton’s hairdresser, laughed off the accusation, telling People magazine, “You guys are so funny.”
“She has the most amazing hair in the world,” Nikkels added.
Clinton admitted earlier this year to dyeing her hair.
“If anyone wonders if mine is real, here’s the answer: The hair is real; the color isn’t,” she said in August.
