Speaking to supporters at a rally in Delaware, Trump said he called his credit card company to find out whether their representatives are based outside the U.S.
The billionaire lamented that when an American calls a credit card company for information, “you’re talking to a person from India. How the hell does that work?”
“So I called up, I tell the guys I’m checking on my card, I said, ‘Where are you from?’ ” Trump said.
Then in a fake Indian accent, he impersonated someone responding, “We are from India.”
“Oh great, that’s wonderful,” Trump said, before making a gesture indicating hanging up a phone.
