An American ISIS fighter praised last week's mass shooting in Orlando while urging more attacks in the U.S., a video released by the terror group Sunday shows.

“Omar Mateen, one of the soldiers of the [caliphate], was one of the few that was truthful to his lord,” Abu Isma'il Al-Amriki said in the video, according to Fox News. “While having prepared his weapons and taken steps, while having trust and reliance upon Allah, it is through his hand that Allah punished his enemies.”

The video was identified by the non-governmental counterterrorism organization SITE.

Al-Amriki, in the video, is holding a rifle while dressed in military-style fatigues.

“Do you think you’re at war with a small group of Mujahedeen in Iraq, Syria, Libya and other places? You are sadly mistaken. And do you think you can defeat us by bombarding our homes with the help of your drones and F-16s [and government groups]? Then again, you have sadly made a great mistake,” Al-Amriki said.

“Oh America, indeed you are at war with all the true and sincere Muslims around the world.”

Mateen on June 12 killed 49 people at injured 53 others at a gay nightclub in Orlando, the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
