The North Carolina lawmaker also blasted the Obama administration for what he called an "absolutely unconstitutional" drone policy.

"When that drone comes to America from a foreign country, we're going to wonder what in the hell hit us. It was a drone," he said.

The White House has defended its use of drone strikes as legal and prudent.
