President Obama ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff Friday after a deadly shooting the previous night in Dallas killed five police officers and injured seven.

Obama ordered the flag at the White House and all others on public buildings and grounds across the country to be flown at half-staff until Tuesday evening to honor the victims in Dallas.
Obama has ordered flags at half-staff more times during his tenure than any president in history, USA Today reported last month.
He lowered flags in June after a gunman opened fire on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., killing 49 people.
The president spoke out about the Dallas shooting during his trip to Warsaw, Poland, on Friday for a NATO summit, vowing "justice will be done" after the sniper attack.
