CNN will air a live town hall with the Green Party's presidential ticket later this month, as the network increases coverage of third-party options.

Presumptive Green Party nominee Jill Stein and running mate Ajamu Baraka will appear on the network for a one-hour special at 9 p.m. on Aug. 17 in New York City.

During the town hall, the candidates will have the chance to talk about the state of the 2016 race and their own platform.

The two will also take questions from voters in the audience.

The Green Party's national convention is this weekend. Stein is all but certain to be the party's presidential nominee.
