Sen. John McCain’s likely Democratic opponent is attacking the Arizona senator using Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s Second Amendment comments.

{mosads}In a 60-second ad released by Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, McCain says in several clips that he plans to back his party’s nominee. A narrator says McCain has pledged to support Trump more than 50 times.

The ad then shows clips in which Trump criticizes McCain, saying he’s never been a “big fan” of the senator. It also shows the clip of Trump making fun of McCain’s military service last year, saying he “like[s] people who weren’t captured.”

“I just hate the way our veterans have been treated by John,” Trump is shown saying in another clip in the ad.

The ad then flashes to a clip of Trump’s comments at a rally earlier this week, when he appeared to joke that gun owners could take action against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Trump was talking at the rally about the possibility that Clinton would appoint liberal justices to the Supreme Court if she wins the White House.

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment,” Trump said.

“By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks,” he added.

“Though the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

The ad then pivots back to McCain, showing the Arizona senator stuttering when asked if he is comfortable with Trump possibly having control of the United States’s nuclear arsenal.

“I support the nominee of the party. If I change my mind, I’ll let you know,” McCain says in a clip at the end of the ad.

“The only thing that’s changed is John McCain,” a narrator says at the end of the ad.
