"I get it, @KatrinaPierson. Get that $. Sell that soul. I personally could not go to bed sobbing into my pillow but you're just so strong," Tiegen tweeted.

The model said she relates to Pierson in that she, too, would be an "incredibly horrible choice" to serve as a campaign spokeswoman.

"Not many of us could wake up and do what @KatrinaPierson does every day with a straight face. What an inspiration," Teigen said in a subsequent tweet.

In another tweet, Teigen used a clip from "The Office," in which a character is commending Michael Scott, the office's supervisor. In it, the character Darryl Philbin says Scott is a "very brave man," adding it takes "courage just to be you" and calling him "Braveheart."

"Darryl says it best, @KatrinaPierson," Tiegen tweeted with the video clip.

Pierson responded, thanking Teigen and mentioning that her favorite movie is "Braveheart."

She also retweeted Teigen's tweet calling Pierson an inspiration.
