Melania Trump on Thursday formally filed suit against British news outlet the Daily Mail and a Maryland blogger over a story alleging the potential first lady had been an escort in the 1990s, according to reports.

Trump is suing the Daily Mail and Webster G. Tarpley, who publishes a blog in Montgomery County, Md., for $150 million, according to a statement from lawyer Charles Harder.

{mosads}Last month, Trump accused several news organizations, including the Daily Mail, of “making false and defamatory statements about her supposedly having been an ‘escort’ in the 1990s.”

The Daily Mail published a story questioning her past romantic relationships, her modeling career and immigration story. The story cited an article from Trump’s native Slovenia that said the modeling agency she worked for also was an escort service.

Several outlets retracted and apologized for repeating the Daily Mail’s claims.

Tarpley published a retraction and apology on his blog, but is still being sued.

The Daily Mail has since removed the story from its website.

Trump’s lawyer also represented Hulk Hogan in his lawsuit against Gawker, which ultimately led to the website’s founder, Nick Dention, declaring bankruptcy and the site being shuttered. That suit was funded by billionaire tech investor Peter Thiel, who endorsed Donald Trump for president and spoke on his behalf at July’s Republican National Convention.
