"Should Donald Trump drop out of the race? Yes,” Navarro tweeted. "He should drop out of the human race.”

"He is an animal,” she continued. "Apologies to animals.”

Navarro made headlines over the weekend when she blasted Trump during a live CNN appearance, saying he was unfit to be called a man.

"He's not fit to be the president,” she said. "He is not fit to be the Republican nominee; he is not fit to be called a man.”
