Campaign manager jokes about yelling at Trump to stick to issues

Donald Trump’s campaign manager raised some eyebrows on Friday when she appeared to joke about yelling at her candidate to stick to the issues during a rally in North Carolina.

BuzzFeed News reporter McKay Coppins, who was at the Greensboro campaign event, noted on Twitter that a Trump supporter in the back of the crowd shouted “stay on the issues” as Trump was speaking.

Several hours later, Kellyanne Conway retweeted Coppins’ observation, adding “that was me! I was there…”

{mosads}Trump has launched an all-out attack against several women accusing him of sexual misconduct.

At Friday’s rally, Trump made several controversial comments about the physical appearance of his accusers, suggesting it was unlikely he was guilty of the allegations because they were not his type.

“Believe me, she would not be my first choice,” he said of a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her on an airplane in the 1980s.

He also used a similar line of attack against a People magazine reporter who recently recalled an incident in which Trump touched her inappropriately.

“When you looked at that horrible woman last night, you said, ‘I don’t think so,’” Trump told his supporters, instructing them to check out her Facebook page for further proof.
