Donald Trump had Mitt Romney laughing so hard that he was “in tears” during their dinner on Tuesday, according to the president-elect’s incoming chief of staff, Reince Priebus.

{mosads}“He is an incredible storyteller and he’s very, very funny,” Priebus said of Trump in an interview on Fox News’s “Hannity” on Thursday. “And he had Mitt Romney in tears through one of the runs that he had on a couple stories.”

Priebus said that the two talked about a variety of topics, including their mutual admiration for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

“They got along,” Priebus said. “They talked about serious things, talked about not serious things. It was a good night. Nevertheless, it’s good to have and build relationships.”

Priebus said that the two also discussed Romney’s criticism of Trump during the campaign. The former Massachusetts governor often railed against Trump, calling him a “fraud,” but is now said to be in the running to be secretary of State in the incoming administration.

Priebus, Romney and Trump dined together Tuesday night in an upscale restaurant in Trump’s New York Hotel.

Romney and Trump also met last month at the president-elect’s golf course in New Jersey to discuss the State Department role.
