Petraeus will hit the Sunday show circuit with an appearance on ABC's "This Week" as the president-elect holds public auditions to fill remaining Cabinet positions in his incoming administration.
The Hill reported on Saturday that at the same time the former CIA director is up for the Trump job with other candidates, Paula Broadwell, the woman with whom he had an affair, is facing possible disciplinary actions from the Army.
A defense official cited the mishandling of classified material and issuing threats as some of the things Broadwell, an Army Reserves major, could be punished for.
Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will make an appearance on CBS's "Face the Nation" after surviving a leadership challenge this week from Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio).
And Trump’s inner circle will be making the rounds to talk about the transition process.
