Russia's Foreign Affairs Cmte head applauds Tillerson for secretary of State

The tweet applauds Trump for appointing someone with experience working with Russia.

"Selection of Tillerson is a sensation. This businessmen, by definition a pragmatist, also has extensive experience working with Russia. Trump continues to surprise," the tweet says, according to a Hill translation.  


According to the Wall Street Journal, Tillerson negotiated an energy partnership with Putin in 2011 that could be worth up to $500 billion.

Trump's choice of Tillerson was reported on Saturday and has since been the subject of much criticism from both parties.
