A former CIA operative on Tuesday slammed incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer for saying there is “zero evidence” of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

“What the hell is that dude talking about?” Phil Mudd said on CNN’s “New Day.”

Spicer told CNN over the weekend that he believed there was “zero evidence” to suggest that Russia interfered with the election.

{mosads}President-elect Donald Trump and his team have repeatedly dismissed the intelligence community’s finding that the Kremlin interfered in the presidential race, even after the Obama administration issued new sanctions against Moscow and the FBI and Department of Homeland Security released a report detailing their findings.

“His boss has come out and already drawn conclusions and said I don’t believe them,” Mudd said, referring to Trump. “Meanwhile, on the other side, Republicans and Democrats in Congress and the intelligence community have come out and said with high confidence, ‘We say that the Russians hacked information related to the elections.’ “

The former CIA operative said that while he believes it’s not clear whether Russia interfered in the election to swing it in Trump’s favor, it’s unprecedented for Trump to dismiss findings by federal intelligence agencies.

“To say either from the Trump camp or from the government camp that we don’t know what happened and we’re going to wait for the report — do we ignore history here? I don’t get it, Chris. This is ridiculous,” Mudd said to CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
