"So much for ... being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported [John] Kasich & Hillary [Clinton]."

Monday’s “New Celebrity Apprentice” premiere drew 4.9 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in the 18- to 49-year-old demographic — a 44 percent drop compared to the 2015 season premiere, according to Time magazine.

Trump hosted the show for 14 seasons, from 2004 until he launched his presidential campaign in mid-2015.

The president-elect kept the title of executive producer on the show, with his credit appearing on Monday's episode.

Schwarzenegger, a Republican, endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich during the GOP presidential primaries. He said in a statement in October that he wouldn't vote for Trump, noting it was his first presidential campaign not backing a Republican.

Schwarzenegger's 2003 election as California governor was often cited during Trump's campaign as proof that voters could get behind a celebrity with no political experience.
